Statement:
My work of late comes from my travels capturing different snapshots of spaces and places. Not necessarily 'looking' for subject matter but happening upon them and letting the situation speak to me in the form of interesting lines, texture or light in particular. Ultimately the subjects are but not limited to landscapes although I'm interested in any space that represents a definite moment in time in which painting the space prompts the viewer to imagine it from the future looking back as opposed to the present looking forward.
