    Endgame, by Samuel Beckett, is a one-act play with four characters.

    Hamm’s an old blind man who’s unable to move from his wheeled armchair. He lives with his caretaker, Clov and his elderly parents, Nagg and Nell, both of whom he keeps in trash bins next to his chair.
    Hamm talks about waiting for an “end”, maybe thinking that this “end” will stop his suffering and misery. (“I love Beckett’s plays, this is how I envisage Hamm”)
