Sarah Corner was born in England and trained & worked in the restoration of painting and decorated antiques in London during which time she learnt much about the techniques of the master craftsmen and artists. Then she ran her own decorative arts business in Dorset before deciding to concentrate solely on her own paintings. Sarah moved to Tipperary, Ireland  in 2001 and inspired by nature and the beauty of the Irish countryside Sarah paints mainly landscapes, wildlife, horses & still life in oils and watercolours. Her wildlife oil paintings have a lifelike quality and are beautifully detailed and closely observed, her landscapes, mainly of Ireland, are more often quiet corners in woods and by rivers than of grand vistas. Sarah is also known for her watercolour/graphite studies of wildlife especially of birds. Sarah has exhibited widely in Ireland and the UK with eleven solo exhibitions and two of her paintings have been purchased for the state art collection of Ireland.
