Painting the muted earthy colours of this wintry day landscape at Westfields got me thinking about ordinary days. Those days where there’s nothing particular going on other than the usual routine of our lives... grey days. January is full of them! And we’re impatient for them to go away (at least I am!) We want the sun and all the colour and energy that brings. But sometimes we need quieter days, restful days. Sometimes the ordinary is just beautiful enough to paint…
