Description

Lock Keepers House and lock gates are in a place called Clashganny in County Carlow, near the town of Borris.  It's a popular spot for water sports and recreation and a place I love to paint in.  It's a most inspiring place with lots of beautiful scenes to paint. Between the changing seasons and spectacular views it's a magical place. I painted this painting one glorious autumn day on location and really enjoyed painting it. Original oil painting on canvas with Image Size 30 x 40 cm and framed with a narrow slip frame around the painting and then floated with 5 cm surround and framed in modern artists off white box frame and ready to hang. Finished size is 55 x 45 cm.  Price €350 including frame.
